AJ Suede on New Album ‘Gotham Fortress,’ Skate Culture, Gentrification in E. Harlem

In our discussion Suede touches on how gentrification has transformed his native Harlem, pushing many folks into places like Stroudsburg, PA. Suede also details his time in Seattle’s Fortress, an artists’ home whose influence is on display throughout the album.
